Mark your calendars: We are pleased to announce the launch of the 11th China and Globalization Forum 2025!

About the China and Globalzation Forum 2025:
Since 2015, CCG has convened this flagship conference annually for ten consecutive years, bringing together global thought leaders and prominent members of the Beijing circles for dialogue and debate about the most pressing issues affecting China and globalization. In an increasingly fragmented world, the Forum remains a staunch advocate for globalization’s renewal and China’s continued reform and openness. The 11th edition will continue to feature a broad spectrum of perspectives from highly regarded delegates from policy-making, business, and diplomatic communities at home and abroad.
In 2025, China stands at a critical juncture, marked by the preparation of its 15th Five-Year Plan, a period that typically heralds transformation as the government sets out blueprint for the next chapter of national renewal. This transition is further complicated by the re-election of Donald Trump as US President, which unleashes heightened uncertainty into global trade and diplomacy. In this ever-changing international landscape, China and globalization must navigate through complex challenges and opportunities defined by rapid technological advancement, shifting geopolitical dynamics, and the urgent need for international cooperation.
Will China’s economy and the global trade weather Trump 2.0? Will it be deal or no deal in the US-China strategic competition under the second Trump administration? Will the China-Europe relationship continue to be defined by trade tensions or climate diplomacy? How will conflicts in the Middle East unfold? Whether efforts to strength AI governance will gather pace or peter out in the face of rising geopolitical tensions? In a splintering world, will multilateralism prove more illusory than real? These questions will hound the year ahead. We encourage you to join us to turn these questions into constructive proposals for action.
