Since 2015, the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) has hosted the China and Globalization Forum annually, bringing together the most prominent members of the CCG Advisory Council, policymakers, celebrated policy scholars, and business leaders. Over the years, the Forum has grown to be a unique magnet characterized by its non-governmental organizing, high attendance of Beijing's diplomatic community, senior Chinese technocrats and policymakers, organic media reports, and unparalleled accessibility where CCG strives to make all public remarks at the Forum available to the general public in text and video, as well as in Chinese and English.
Guests at the 9th China and Globalization Forum in September 2023 include CCG Honorary Chair and former Minister of Commerce Chen Deming, then China's Special Envoy for Climate Change Xie Zhenhua, former Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs and former Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations Liu Zhenmin (recently announced as China's new Special Envoy for Climate Change) vis-a-vis with ambassadors from various countries and organizations stationed in Beijing such as the U.S. Ambassador Nicholas Burns, EU Ambassador Jorge Toledo AlbiƱana, Spanish Ambassador Rafael Dezcallar, and UN Resident Coordinator in China Siddharth Chatterjee, etc.
